TRANSFORMING SYSTEMS, ELIMINATING BARRIERS

Reducing Recidivism and Opening Doors for Success Beyond the Second Sentence.
When individuals return to society after incarceration, they often face an invisible "Second Sentence"ā€”a set of barriers that limit opportunities and potential. But this doesn't have to be their future.
Iā€™ve dedicated my career to creating strategies that go beyond individual support, focusing on system-wide solutions that reduce recidivism, empower returning citizens, and reform societal structures. Through evidence-based consulting and strategic advocacy, I work with organizations, governments, and communities to eliminate the barriers that prevent success.
My missionĀ is not just to give returning citizens a hand up but to transform the systems that hold them back. I use my personal experience and expertise to guide organizations, businesses, and communities in creating opportunities for those who deserve a second chanceā€”so that every returning citizen can realize their potential and contribute meaningfully to society.

"I am living, breathing proof that our mistakes do not defineĀ us..."

12 years ago, I was physically released from prison. I came home and was hired at a logistics company where my salary was just over minimum wage. I had over 20k to pay in restitution, and I felt like I was spinning my wheels.

It wasn't until eight years after my release that I became truly free. Even though I had long left the prison walls behind I was still mentally in shackles.

Because of my experience with the Criminal Justice System, I am dedicated to helping returning citizens become not just physically free, but mentally free as well.
